Taste of the Blackwood is the major food and wine festival in the Blackwood Valley Region,
a market-style event designed especially for food and wine lovers.
Visit the 8th Annual Taste of the Blackwood Festival and please your palate at this delicious culinary event, which is a celebration of the Blackwood Valley Region’s culture, fine food and award winning wines.
Experience stalls showcasing the quality, diversity and value of local products and indulge in free tastings of our finest food and wine. Take the time to talk to our producers and experience their enthusiasm for both their produce and the spectacular Blackwood Valley itself.
Entertain the entire family with free workshops and cooking demonstrations running throughout the day. While the kids create something in a workshop just for them, you can learn how to make a water-wise wicking bed, take a masterclass in olive oil appreciation, or learn how to make sourdough bread and take home some starter culture. This is just the beginning, there’s lots more on! For those important details of who, what and when, please refer to the Program on our Free Workshops page.
One of the best parts of the Taste of the Blackwood Festival? As a not-for-profit event run by a dedicated group of volunteers, it only costs a gold coin donation to enter!
